Services:

The Division of Code Enforcement issues building, electrical, and heating-cooling permits for all new construction and for remodeling with structural changes.  Field inspections are made to ensure that the work is done within the minimum guidelines set forth by all applicable codes.  The Division is also responsible for reviewing the plans submitted by contractors, architects or owners for all structures for design compliance with requirements of the Kentucky Building Code.  For more information on obtaining a permit or to request an inspection, contact the Division at 502-921-2970.
